The Guam Catholic Pro-Life Committee has recently obtained the Abortion Report for the first quarter of 2025 from the Bureau of Vital Statistics of Guam’s Department of Public Health and Social Services. Guam law (10 GCA 3218) requires abortion providers to submit basic information about abortions committed on Guam to the government and for the government to produce and make available an annual report of those records.
Here is a summary:
- 11 chemical (“medical”) abortions were reported
- 6 out of the 11 mothers had at least some college education
- 8 out of the 11 mothers had at least one living child already
- 6 out of the 11 mothers were married
- none of the mothers were younger than 23
- 2 out of the 11 mothers had previous abortions
- all 11 of the mothers listed their medical condition as “fine“
These results are consistent with previous reports. Please keep these women and their loved ones in your prayers!
